Mama's Chili
as recorded by Price McAllister1 can Tomato Paste (kinda smallish)
1 can Rotel (reg. soup can size ish)
1 can Kidney Beans (there's only one sensible size)
1 can Green Chiles (little bitty one, Azteca is great)
1 lb hamburger
Cumin
Garlic Salt
Chili Powder
Pepper
Season the meat with the garlic salt and pepper. Brown the meat. Drain the fat for healthier chili. Leave it in for tastier chili.
Open your vast assortment of cans. Dump them into a crock pot with the meat. Chaney will tell you that half a can of chiles is enough, others may disagree with you. Season with a solid amount of cumin, it should smell very much like chili when you have enough, this will kick up the heat very quickly as well.
Fill up the tomato paste can with water and add it to the crock pot. If you left the fat in, do that 2 more times, if you drained it off, it'll take 3 more times. Let it cook on the high setting for 2-3 hours or until suitably tasty and the beans are cooked. Enjoy!
