1 pkg (2 3/4 tsp) active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
2/3 c warm water
1 2/3 c all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vegetable or olive oil
Proof yeast:
Dump yeast, sugar and oil into warm water and let stand for 5 minutes (to make sure your yeast is good - should form foam at the top)
Put dry ingredients in the food processor and pulse a few times, using the cutting blade
Turn on the processor and drizzle in yeast/water mixture
Once all of the wet ingredients are incorporated, check to make sure all dough has adhered to the ball. If not, add more oil until it does.
Process for 45 seconds
Place in an oiled bowl for 5 minutes
Stretch it out on your pan and make pizza.
If using a regular pan, cook for 5 minutes at 350, add your toppings, then bake until toppings are done, 10-15 minutes.
If you have cast iron, use that for your pizza pan.
Bake at 350ยบ for 15-18 minutes.
